Hey 👋 I am Anna Monica. With over a decade of experience in photography and filmmaking, my journey into the industry began with a quest to discover my true passion. Since 2009, photography has been an integral part of my daily life. After studying event marketing in Toronto and ecology/tourism in MSU, I realized that creating ideas, scriptwriting, and directing were where my heart truly lies and went to study filmmaking in a Moscow Film school.
While honing my skills in filmmaking, I thrived as a behind-the-scenes photographer and videographer on sets. My success stemmed from not just capturing scenes but also conveying stories, emotions, and atmospheres through my work. I excel at seizing meaningful and unforgettable moments.
Throughout my career, I've endeavored to assemble and lead teams of talented, creative individuals with a shared passion for the craft. Together, we've secured grants for projects like a short film for a dating website, akin to Tinder, where I served as director.
My directorial debut in music videos was an ambitious undertaking, set in an abandoned village. I oversaw every aspect, from equipping the location to building sets from scratch. This experience was invaluable, teaching me the intricacies of production.
